A hex headed bolt on the bill of materials includes its material, grade, and plating.
Fastener Library with Insertion and Mating Program
The CadParts Fastener Library includes over 11,000 fasteners. All parts are individual SolidWorks files, compatible from SolidWorks 98 through the latest version, and dimensions conform to Industrial Fastener Institute (IFI) and ANSI standards. The library covers cap screws, carriage bolts, square head bolts, nuts, inch and metric screws, shoulder screws, washers, and PEM hardware, with both plated and non-plated steel versions.
All parts have the bill of materials part description embedded in the file along with torque value, clamp force, and other engineering properties. The library comes with the CadParts Insertion and Mating Program and can be installed on any server within the company, so it can be accessed by all users. Parts are modeled to be shown in the assembled state. Lock washers, for example, are modeled in the flat form so the fastener height above the clamp surface is shown accurately.

Threaded Pipe Fitting Library
The CadParts Threaded Pipe Fitting Library includes over 7,000 pipe fittings and pipes modeled in SolidWorks. Fittings are available in bronze, gray iron, forged steel, and malleable iron, and all sizes comply with ASME standards. Steel pipe comes in schedules 40, 80, 160, and XXS in seamless and welded options with black and zinc finishes. Brass pipe comes in schedules 40 and 80.
All models have connection points and routing points and are compatible with SolidWorks 2004 and beyond, including SolidWorks Routing. The library provides both configuration files and individual files with mating planes.
